What is BRELA ORS System?

ORS BRELA is web system developed by Business Registration and Licencing Agency hereinafter (BRELA) which help in online business Registration. There’s a lot of activities you can do on BRELA ORS apart from business Registration. The following are the activities you can do on your BRELA ORS account;
1. Register business name
2. Company registration, change of particulars, filing company related documents and annual returns.
3. Industrial Licence registration, change of particulars, filing annual progress report and cancellation.
4. Information services. Here you can apply for and extract of short or detailed information about business name, company, industrial licence, mark or patent. You can also order Mark index review by Nice class that will be at your disposition for 3 days.
5. Mark registration and filing mark related documents.
6. Patent registration and filing patent or utility model related documents

How to login on ORS BRELA?

To login in BRELA ORS portal in order to do activity like download BRELA certificate or register business in Tanzania, is quite simple. But remember before login on your account you need to have active account, that means you’re already created account on BRELA ORS. If you don’t have account on BRELA ORS don’t worry I also write in detail on how to create ORS account in the next paragraph. Kindly follow the following simple steps to login in ORS BRELA;
Step 1. Launch your browser
Step 2. Navigate to: https://ors.brela.go.tz/
Step 3. Click e-servise for registered user, then enter your username and password as shown in the screenshot below

Step 4. Click “sign in tab” after correctly entering the required information. Boom now you’re able to login in your BRELA ORS account.

How to create account on ORS BRELA

If you want to register business in Tanzania you need first to create account on BRELA ORS. Therefore in this short guide I will show you how to create account on BRELA ORS. Follow the following simple steps to get started;
1. Launch your browser (chrome, Mozilla, Brave) on Computer
2. Navigate to: https://ors.brela.go.tz/
3. Click on “create ORS account” tab
4. Fill the required information like NIDA (National Identification Number, Nationality, phone number, password email etc) as shown in the screenshot below

5. Click Submit after correctly entering the required information.

Now Boom!! you have successfully created account on BRELA ORS Tanzania online business Registration Portal. The next step is to register business name, register company or sole proprietorship. The payment in BRELA ORS will be done through either using Vodacom M-Pesa or Tigo Pesa or through bank hereinafter CRDB or NMB. This is the acceptable payment method right now.
